Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has cast doubt on businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye’s claims about his financial success.
Quaye, the founder of Angels Credit Limited, previously stated in an interview with Bola Ray that he once worked as a kitchen porter in the UK and sold local gin (Akpeteshie) in James Town before making it big.

However, Ampaw dismissed these claims, insisting that Quaye’s true source of wealth is known to some.
