Ghanaian footballer Alidu Seidu has opened up about his tough upbringing, revealing how he was caught up in crime before finding salvation in football.
Growing up in Kumasi, he navigated a life of violence, theft, and vandalism, often carrying knives for protection. His reckless path caused distress to his family, especially his mother, who constantly wept over his choices.

A turning point came when his uncle pushed him towards football, recognizing his talent. Seidu later moved to Ivory Coast in 2019 before joining French club Clermont Foot in 2020, ultimately leaving his troubled past behind.
