Ghanaian actress Beverly Afaglo has revealed how she lost her home to a fire just when she was about to launch her Shawarma business, Traffic Shawarma.
Speaking on The Career Trail, she shared that her passion for Shawarma started after experiencing the quality in Lagos, which she found far superior to what was available in Ghana.

Before she could launch, a devastating fire destroyed her home, wiping out everything she had. Despite the setback, she pushed forward, renting a four-room apartment to accommodate her chef from Nigeria.
However, she later had to part ways with the chef, which nearly led to shutting down the business. Encouraged by her team, she trained a Ghanaian replacement and temporarily closed for two weeks to perfect the recipe.
Today, Traffic Shawarma has expanded into multiple branches and even a franchise. She encouraged entrepreneurs never to give up, despite challenges.
