Ghanaian rapper Medikal has warned fans never to compare him to any rapper in Ghana, Africa, or beyond.
In a bold tweet posted on April 15, he said, “Nobody be my mate!” and singled out Kwesi Arthur as one of the names he shouldn’t be compared to.
He believes such comparisons undermine his craft and achievements.
Many fans believe the tweet is part of a promo strategy for his new video “Welcome to Africa.”
While some fans cheered him on, others trolled him, questioning his claims.
